Business Reviews: Extension and Revision for Intermediate Level Students: Student's Book (Longman Business English)

"Business Review" is for business people who want to refresh their English and put it into action in a business context. It revises key grammar and functions while building up effective communication skills. Particular focus is given to listening and speaking skills in business situations. The freestanding units can be used as a core course or as individual training modules to suit learner's needs and interests. All the activities can be used for one to one and group teaching. Each unit focuses on both a language point (structural / functional) and a business topic. Each unit has a structure taking students through the following stages: warm-up which focuses attention, stimulates discussion and builds rapport; listening which develops listening for information and language; practice which gives controlled and free practice; vocabulary which checks understanding and encourages vocabulary building. There is an answer key and tapescript at the back of the book. The course consists of a student's book and a cassette which is available separately.
