Mum has a head like a sieve, so Dad gets lots of messages to bring home things she has forgotten. Unfortunately, Dad's secretary often mishears and, coupled with Dad's tendancy to bring home whatever is requested without question, so the house is soon full of parrots, slugs, horses and snakes.
