Description ▲
Dr. Knute Lee was an authentic survivor, having been on the verge of death again and again. He walked away from six wrecked Naval aircraft during World War II, and came through a number of other harrowing experiences during his youth and adulthood. Enjoy reading these true and personal stories crafted by a man who studied the art of writing and story-telling. His life work was focused on the college classroom and the parish ministry, but earlier pathways led him to a wide range of experiences. He was a day laborer, an itinerant harvest hand, a railroad gandy dancer, truck driver, dance band musician, and cab driver. His doctorate is from Columbia University and Union Theological Seminary. He served on the faculties of Luther College, Pacific Lutheran University, and Lutheran Bible Institute of Seattle. The Navy awarded him the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Silver Star.
