The Vile

Colin Vile has a secret, one he carries wherever he goes. With it, he spreads what he calls his "good cheer" on a twisted journey both of travel and self-discovery. He is a man scarred by his past who increasingly finds himself at the mercy of something buried deep within him, something he can neither understand nor control that is pushing him inexorably toward his destiny, as he seeks to create more death and chaos than any man before in history. Along the way he becomes more and more divided in his purpose, but believes it is "already too late" to prevent the disaster he has set in motion.This is the story of a man who gains the power to destroy on a scale without precedent, told from his point of view-a misfit who believes that life is stacked against him, and since he cannot change himself he must therefore change the world.But where does his urge to destroy come from?
