Crawling out of the tangible world and into the dreamscape of the intangible, building the story of a girl named Twilight upon the backs of totems, archetypes, myth, faeries, and legend.On a mission to infiltrate safe spaces and delve into shadow, Burning Twilight is a multi-layered journey: a time of day, the bridge from girl to woman, a journey from dark nights of the soul and fear of being alone, of losing love, of being forgotten, of never reaching light again-to balance and finding truth. Having tea with demons while sharing crumpets with angels.Sensually provocative at one turn, innocent and flirtatiously fluttering for approval at the next-struggles with lovers, religion, and all manner of authority figures reverberate throughout.The smell of sage, a fire is burning in the forest: Twilight is walking barefoot in tattered ware out of this realm and into the flames. She walks like a proud warrior. She could be a Phoenix, but perhaps she is Persephone. She holds on to the arm of a tattered teddy bear, clinging to the idealism of youth.
