True Love Under the Stairs

Once more, John Lyon (a young history teacher in Kansas City) returns to the other reality across the static electric “bridge” under his hall stairs. Again, to enter the medieval planet he’d dubbed Band World—finding it, once more, in crisis.

But what can he do about the recent earthquake (the other world people told that John caused it) the needs of the Band World girl he’d come to love, a pretender on the throne, spies, assassins, savage animals in the night, to say nothing of the evil mage, Pfnaravin—lurking, always lurking. On other crossings, a little Magic and some modern know-how had gotten him home. Now fighting heavy odds, will this be the time his luck runs out?
