Twenty-six-year-old urban professional Gypsy Smith appears to have it all. A beautiful, articulate, and witty full-figured African American woman, she has a thriving career as part owner of a travel agency in Southern California. Her success has provided her with sports cars, a designer wardrobe, and an expensive loft in Long Beach just blocks from the beach. But what’s not obvious to outsiders is how hard Gypsy struggles daily with her secret sexual desires.
Paris Morgan, a charming, intelligent, and romantic thirty-three-year-old African American man is nice almost to a fault. This quality earns him abuse and rejection from the women he lets into his life. But after meeting Gypsy, Paris feels like he’s found all he desires. Yet Paris has secrets too.
