Ingrid E. Katal was born in communist oppressed Czechoslovakia. Struggle came soon to this girl starting at age three. Fleeing her homeland in 1968 and relocating to Canada, Ingrid's young life was never without consternation and strife. Strikingly tall and later hearing impaired, she overcame one obstacle after another. She has shared this great skill with countless others even today.
