Trails of the Farmer’s Daughter traces the path followed by a courageous and loving woman who filled her life with love and laughter and music and children, children, children. She grew up on a farm, survived an illness that could have claimed her life as a teenager, grew up to marry her childhood love, raised a loving family and helped many foster children transition to a new life. It’s a history of a family and the very special memories she has of the people most dear to her – her beloved parents and siblings, her childhood sweetheart who became her first husband, the much-loved children and foster children whose lives she enriched, the new love who entered her life after the death of her first husband.
