Tarnished Pulpit

First Parish Unitarian Church of Ironton Corner is dying. Matthew Henry Stiles arrives in a hot air balloon on his first Sunday landing on the town green. Inside the Meeting House, he exclaims, “People!! Here I am!” His narcissistic obsessive compulsive personality drives his ministry as he builds the church from 40 members to 300. He is a hero to some, but not to all. Will this protagonist, who uses blackmail and manipulation, to pursue his lofty goals, get his comeuppance?
