Jack and the Red Shoes

After surviving the Great Recession, young Jack and his mother Kate were left with little choice but to move to a remote area, choosing a small humble trailer amidst a thick eastern forest. In the daily struggle to make ends meet, Jack with his slight impediment, and his faithful dog Herbie set out for their first Journey alone into the forest, plodding along a narrow pathway to the town of Rigil. Everything was peaceful till they discovered an unexpected forest secret that would transcend beyond the boundaries of myth and modern science.
