What starts as a coming of age tale of one man—a stupid professor (Professor Stupid)—becomes a grand retelling of two American classics: "Where the Red Fern Grows" and "Godzilla." Two dogs, best friends and worst enemies, travel cross country with a monster made of special children who subsumes anybody who gets in its way (a sex fiend, a failed suicide, a squirrel, a Dell Inspiron, etc.), only to be killed and ultimately subsumed by the greatest threat to middle America: the financial sector.
