The Open-String Book for Violin

The Open-String Book, written specifically for beginning violinists, teaches basic bowing and rhythm skills using only open strings. While first helpful for the absolute beginner, the book is also useful after fingered notes have been learned, as a supplemental book that allows the teacher to focus on bow control and correct bow-arm movement.
