Pharmaceutical Microbiology

Pharmaceutical Microbiology may be defined as that part of microbiology that has a special bearing on pharmacy in all its aspects. This ranges from the manufacture and quality control of pharmaceutical products in general to an understanding of the mode of action of antibiotics. The authors have provided a concise textbook for pharmacy students and have also highlighted those aspects of microbiology that impinge on the pharmaceutical industry.
