Dancing with Hector: Letters from a Cracked Head

Bondage is a middle aged woman struggling with drug addiction, leading her to a failed suicide attempt. Through her letters, she gives her version of the ‘why’ and the ‘how’ she became a ‘zombie,’ eventually selling her soul to “Hector” aka cocaine. Her story begins in a mental ward where she takes her first steps into recovery. The harsh reality of what she lost is demonstrated in a series of letters to her husband, Mr. Jones. Through her intense journey of recovery, gains and losses, she faces her demons and finds her higher power, and eventually, peace of mind.
