… ecoculture and ecocultural ethics are not the concerns of politicians alone. They are very visible in academia. Scholars of all disciplines have addressed issues related to nature, to land, to the ecosystem, and to humanity’s connections to the environment. Hence ecocultural studies are transdisciplinary in nature. These issues, therefore, have been discussed with competing ideas and perspectives, depending generally on the scholars’ disciplines and inclination of the mind.
