Deconstructing O'Reilly

Religious righteousness, with its roots in the monotheist tradition, has been for the past few millenniums a spreading cancer that hardly anyone can escape. Even here in America and unlike our own Constitution had guaranteed, freedom from such burden is by no mean self-evident. Moreover, as religious extremism is growing worldwide, it is clear that a new analysis of religion, the Church and its affiliates is long overdue. A good portion of this work will be spent exposing and analyzing the religious/conservative mind as well as its deadly consequences. But the whole enterprise would seem pointless if we could not come up with a worthwhile alternative. Fortunately, such alternative does exist and has its roots in logic, mathematics and science in general. Accordingly, we will need, to some extent, to explore the foundation of these disciplines. In the process, few results of deep significance will be convincingly argued. Subsequently, a fair amount of time will be spent on giving an exposition of the atheist philosophy or equivalently the justification of life and its consciousness without any supernatural argument. In particular, by the end of the book, the reader should have in his/her possession a set of basic principles justifying a purely empirical world, one freed of ancient superstitions and mysterious gods.
