It encompasses recent changes in the structure and curricula of the Part I and II examinations. - Takes account of changes in the exam, notably changes away from a traditional MCQ exam to a format using Individual Statements and Extended Matched Items (ISQ's and EMI's). The dropping of the Part 1 clinical is another very significant change to the examination, and the replacement of this by the OSCE (Objective structured clinical examination) exam means that two entirely new chapters have been provided.
- In addition, some changes have occurred to the Patient Management Problems - which are now more structured and have been reamed the structured objective examination. Although the techniques required are similar, the existing chapter addressing these has been updated.
