The Teacher Practitioner in Nursing, Midwifery and Health Visiting

Within the various branches of nursing there are specialized grades of teacher-practitioners, for example the clinical nurse teacher in clinical nursing, the practical work teacher in district nursing and the field work teacher in health visiting. In addition, all grades of nursing staff in all branches of nursing and midwifery are expected to undertake a teaching role with learner nurses.
