Summer at End House (Gateway Books (Lutterworth))

From the Gateway Books series - a series of interesting stories for the slightly older child, with some adventure and each with a Christian theme. It is summer when Briony comes to live at End House. She tends the overgrown and neglected garden with love, and makes new friends, including Heather and Jessamy, the girls she met at the Gospel stall in the market.
