Ice Conditions of Contract for Minor Works

These conditions present a consensus on the requirements of minor work contracts. It is the standard contract for civil engineering minor works in the same way as the "ICE Conditions of Contract, 5th edition" but has been written specifically to cater for contracts where: the potential risks to both the employer and the contractor are small; the completion period is no longer than 6 months except where payment is on a dayworks or cost-plus-fee basis; the works are simple and straightforward; the contract value does not exceed 100,000 pounds; the design work is complete in all essentials before tenders are invited; and nominated sub-contractors are not employed.
