A Guide to 2 Unit Physics For The HSC is written for Year 12 students of the new 2 Unit HSC Physics course which was examined for the first time in 1995. The main focus of the book is problem solving method: each chapter contains explicit problem solving techniques followed by 'Checkpoints' so that students can immediately practice and implement the techniques demonstrated. At the end of each chapter are a variety of HSC style questions with fully worked examples at the end of the book. Students are often swamped by the amount of information presented in textbooks and this book covers all the essential theory in an easy to read format. As well as the Core, four electives are covered.
