Description

Amen Pass is the story of a supply truck convoy, headed by Col. Henry Longfellow Wadsworth (very wordy, very scared), aided by Captain Hugh Langston (real hero of story) which is headed toward Sidi Bou Zid, North Africa. They run afoul of dive bombers and a sand storm which obliterates the Tebessa Road. They wind up at Aman Pass (Amen to the GI's), meet two escapees from the Germans, a British spy and a Free French Spy, Reginald Deering and Melanie Dubois (romantic interest). Deering tells them of German plan to come through Pass. Their trials and battle against tanks comprise the story of Amen Pass.
