The Children of the Dream

Written following a research study carried out by the author, Bruno Bettelheim, a child psychotherapist. He spent seven weeks in a communal rearing in the Israel kibbitz funded by the "New World Foundation in 1964. He writes in the achnowledgements: "None of it could have been possible, however, without the splendid help of many people in Israel to whom I remain intensely grateful."
