Focusing on the development of political power over the last 1500 years, this is part of a series which offers a progressive course taking A-level students' understanding of history through a series of developmental stages. The material integrates content, concepts and skills with investigative approaches, to develop historical understanding. It also encourages the use of active learning strategies, including investigation, problem-solving, discussion, group-work and information technology.
