Level 2 an Level 3 material is clearly distinguished and questions where Level 3 students can use calculators are indicated. It is organised in clear 2-4 page spreads. It uses numerous 'real life' examples with worked examples rather than large chunks of text to explain maths. Regular 'check points' encourage students to check their own answers. It focuses on just what students need to learn for the Key Skills Qualification. It includes section on developing a portfolio, with examples of assignments and suggested answers.
