Slurry Transport Using Centrifugal Pumps

The students of a course (GIW Hydraulic Laboratory) have generally been experienced engineers from industries concerned with moving very large quantities of material (open pit extraction operations, mine and pit backfilling, dredging, and so forth). The course notes (and subsequently this book) can be seen as reflecting these interests. The same interests were also shown in a number of technical papers using data obtained during the course, with results indicated in the book.
