Changing by Degrees: The Potential Impacts of Climate Change in the East Midlands (Routledge Studies in Environmental Policy and Practice)

Throughout the 20th century the world's climate warmed by about 0.5 degrees centigrade and it will continue to warm by as much as six degrees centigrade by the end of the 21st century. What does that mean for life and the economy at the local and regional scales for industrialized nations? This study represents a regional assessment of the impacts of climate change in an industrialized European nation.
