This is the sixth edited volume of refereed contributions, from an international group of researchers and specialists. Volumes five and six comprise the edited proceeds of the Third International Conference on Engineering Psychology and Cognitive Ergonomics, organized by Cranfield Colege of Aeronautics, Edinburgh, in October 2000.
