Marianne has a busy life juggling working part time as a management consultant and travelling all over the country and being a village housewife. She had also been sliding in to and out of other times since she managed to break out of post-natal depression. Her fleeting visits with the Norsemen, Roman legions and the like added a special and sometimes helpful dimension to her life. These visits were her own little secret, which she felt no real need to confide to anyone else. But then she was forced to realise that her 13 year old son was also visiting other times..
