Hugo Complete Spanish: Complete CD language course—from beginner to fluency

Hugo Complete pack contains the Hugo In 3 Months beginner's course and the Hugo Advanced course that follows on from it. The two books and two sets of three CD recordings take students from the basics of the language through to the level required for higher education. Each Hugo Advanced book and book-plus-CD pack, containing a book and three CDs, is the perfect tool for developing written and spoken fluency in that language. It is also an ideal study aid right up to GCSE level. Carefully structured, each course is divided into manageable lessons, focusing on an aspect of life in that country and containing authentic texts related to the topic. All the books and accompanying CDs have been thoroughly revised from the original tried-and-trusted Hugo courses, including current currency usage and the addition of new vocabulary, to provide practical, up-to-the-minute grounding in each foreign language. Each lesson contains a series of numbered sections, covering points of usage and grammar - from idiomatic expressions and slang to the use of different verb tenses - together with written and oral exercises that reinforce the points of grammar and vocabulary introduced in the lesson. At the end of the course are answers to the exercises together with a mini-bilingual dictionary that will prove useful long after the course is finished. Each Hugo Advanced course contains three CDs, divided into approximately 20 tracks, allowing students to go straight to the section they wish to access. Each of the texts are read clearly by native speakers, enabling students to imitate the sounds of the language accurately. Native speakers also enact conversations, allowing students to experience the language as it is spoken in everyday situations.
