Christmas is an exciting and magical time especially in the Winter Wonderland. Children come to this part of the department store to look at the toys and to tell Santa their wishes.

Pictures with Santa are taken at the back of the marvelous display occupying several hundred square feet. Scores of mechanically animated figures and a robotic Santa Claus make it truly a Wonderland.

Eleven year old Lora has been given the opportunity to work as an elf in the Winter Wonderland. Her twelve year old cousin, Jamie, runs general errands. The children have been promised new skis in return for helping out in the store during this busy season.

The department store is robbed of an underinsured collection of precious diamond jewelry. As the store belongs to Jamie's father, Jamie is afraid of financial ruin for his family. The two cousins decide to solve the mystery.

So who is the thief? Surely it couldn't be Santa, or could it? What about the lady in the jewelry department? Or the photographer? And more importantly, where are the diamonds now?

SAN JUAN SECRET

Another Jamie and Lora adventure! A modern day story set in the beautiful San Juan Islands in Washington State. This area, being a short sailing time from many Canadian ports, saw much activity during Prohibition.

Eleven year old Lora is looking forward to a visit from her twelve year old cousin Jamie. Unfortunately, when he arrives on the island he is moody and difficult to be with. The children are forced to spend time together as their parents visit.

While snorkeling the cousins find a clue that draws them into an old mystery surrounding the disappearance of a rum-running boat

Can Jamie and Lora get along with each other till the clues are figured out? Will Lora's dog manage to ruin everything before they solve the mystery?
