Barron's AP Spanish, 2007-2008: with Audio CDs

This thoroughly updated edition anticipates the Advanced Placement Spanish test's major format changes effective in early 2007. The book's added practice sections and test-taking advice in written proficiency reflect significant changes in the test's new writing section. Students will now be required to demonstrate their skill in written Spanish by answering several short questions, in addition to the test's standard essay question, which is being retained. Increased emphasis is also placed on vocabulary, and this new edition offers significantly more vocabulary lists and exercises than past editions. The audio compact discs included with this manual offer practice and review in listening comprehension--as they did in previous editions--but now also include Spanish conversation exercises in which students must give spoken replies to questions that they hear on the recording. The book presents one full-length practice AP exam with questions answered and explained, with the test's listening comprehension section presented on the accompanying CDs.
