Research and practical experiment convinced the author that color is a comparatively unexplored mine containing many treasures, some of which Irwin endeavors to indicate in this little primer. There were increasing signs that color was about to become a new and universal medium of expression, because the race was daily growing fitter to receive the benefits of its message.
