Thinking Algebraically with Numbers & Shapes, Level B: Student Activity Book

The word “algebra” is not commonly heard in elementary classrooms, but the mathematical investigations in these grades frequently include elements of algebraic thinking/reasoning, and building students’ algebra skills.

To address the call for “Algebra for All” from NCTM, this classroom-tested, standards-based program helps elementary students develop a strong foundation in algebra reasoning to build the skills necessary for success in Algebra in the secondary grades.
