Nursing Care of High Risk Patient and Family, Revised: Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN)

This CD-ROM provides a foundation of knowledge to prepare nurses to care competently for high-risk pregnant women/newborns/families through the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods. Three case simulations thoroughly cover nursing care for commonly seen high-risk conditions: Preterm Labor and Bleeding; Diabetes in Pregnancy; and Hypertensive Disorders of Pregnancy. Nursing care includes pathophysiology, diagnosis, risk factors, associated complications, treatments, and psychosocial topics.
