Preaching the Gospel of John grew out of the author s desire to assist preachers on the occasions in which the Gospel of John is used in the lectionary cycle, especially the difficulties often encountered in preaching on the sixth chapter of the Gospel of John over the course of five consecutive Sundays in liturgical year B. This book is designed as a preaching resource to assist with homily preparation and to deal with the homiletic challenges involving Johannine gospels texts.
