Your Basic Skills, part of the Get That Job! series, assists students in assessing their mastery of basic math, language, and communication skills needed for the job search and required in many entry-level jobs. Topics include understanding basic math, using correct spelling and job-related vocabulary, understanding grammar and usage for writing, proofreading, reading directions and documents, and determining where and how to improve one's skills.
