Critical Regionalism and Cultural Studies: From Ireland to the American Midwest

This work uses the idea of critical regionalism to describe a comparative methodology for cultural studies. Demonstrating moving between a subject location and an object social scene, it details social forces and behind-the-scenes institutions on rural Ireland and the American Midwest.
