This illustrated textbook provides comprehensive coverage of poultry disease. The editors have brought together contributors from the United States, Europe, Asia and Australia, reflecting the international scope of the text. Particular emphasis is placed on problems associated with the now commonplace international movements of poultry breeding stock and poultry products and the consequences of preventive health programmes established to protect large commercial flocks from transmissible pathogens.
