Staying Alive: The Paratrooper's Story

At age nineteen, John Delaney was a battle-hardened, highly trained member of the elite South African Parachute Battalion, who had fought bush wars throughout Namibia and Angola. For several years of active duty, his primary goal was to shoot the enemy before they could shoot him. And then, as quickly as he had been called up, he was done.
