Data Cleaning Procedures for the 1993 Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Employer Health Insurance Survey (Volume 1)

RAND designed the survey to assist states in defining problems with their employment-based health insurance markets and in analyzing the impacts of policy options. This report briefly describes the survey, provides an overview of the objectives in editing the data and imputing for missing or edited values, and describes the specific cleaning procedures used.
