Maternal and Child Health: Programs, Problems, and Policy in Public Health

This book provides an overview of the issues and the content of maternal and child health services in the United States. The health care needs of pregnant women, mothers, and children of all ages are studied with particular attention focused on services, policies and societal institutional forces that directly influence maternal and child health.
