READING INSTRUCTION IN THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL (College Proficiency Examination Program Series) (Passbooks) (Regents College Proficiency Examination Series)

The College Proficiency Examination Program (CPEP) opens up the educational opportunities of the State to individuals who have acquired college-level knowledge in ways other than through regular classroom attendance by allowing these persons who lack formal college course work in a subject to demonstrate their competency in that subject on the basis of the concept of credit-by-examination. Anyone may take the examinations. Test results earn college credit, meet teacher certification requirements, and earn Regents External Degrees.
