Published annually, this book provides a single volume source of key children proceedings legislation in the UK. It contains consolidated, fully amended and annotated texts of the Children Act 1989, relevant sections of the Family Proceedings Rules 1991 and other key legislation in one easily portable volume. Since implementation in 1991 of the Children Act, all this legislation has been constantly amended, and finding a reliable, up-to-date and yet still portable source has been difficult. This book meets this need and will be used in British courts by child law practitioners, judges and social workers.
