Economic Evaluation of Epilepsy Management

Health economics is a growing area of importance for all people involved in the delivery of health care. This timely monograph which proceeded from a symposium supported by the International League Against Epilepsy, represents the first generally available guide to cost-benefit considerations of epilepsy surgery and use of anti-epileptic drugs. Drawing on international experience, the ethical, humanitarian and economic aspects of treatment are addressed.
