Chief Little Raven was a warrior, orator, and diplomat. His faith in the United States government’s plans and treaties was proved wrong again and again, and his attempts to protect his people’s way of life failed.
Even though he had many disappointments, Chief Little Raven tried to lead his people to live in harmony with white settlers. In his lifetime, he saw the end of a way of life for thousands of Arapaho who once camped near the place where the Cherry Creek and the South Platte River meet in today's Denver, Colorado.
This is the third book in the Great Lives in Colorado History series.
