Four Days from Fort Wingate: The Lost Adams Diggings

In 1864, twenty-one miners and a freighter named Adams set out from Arizona Territory in search of a rich deposit of gold.  According to legend the vein they found was rich beyond their wildest imaginings but they were attacked by Indians and only three survived; none of which could remember the exact site of this legendary mine.  Adventure seekers and treasure hunters have been searching for it since.
