The book is based on historical and archaeological evidence, but author Kenny Mann also includes summaries of the myths and legends of these three kingdoms, showing how they relate to the history we know. The book is written in clear, clean prose, and amply illustrated with maps and photographs of monuments, hieroglyphics, contemporary drawings, and statuary.
