The Ramayan

The Râmâyan, or the path chosen by the righteous Prince Râm, heir to the throne of Ayodhyâ, is an ancient Sanskrit epic which, along with the Vedas, the Upanishads, the Mahâbharat, and the Gitâ, forms the core of Indian literature.

The epic features kings, princes and princesses, demons, monkeys, and bears, and describes an eventful journey, a quest, and a war. But most of all, it praises the values that we all believe in, and the virtues we love.
